Useful For
The complete blood count (CBC) with or without differential can be used as a screening procedure and is helpful in the diagnosis of many diseases such as anemia, leukemia, allergic reactions, viral, bacterial and parasitic infections. The CBC reflects the body’s ability to fight disease and is employed as an indicator of the patient’s progress in certain disease states.
