Specimen Requirements
Container/Tube:
Preferred: 0.5 mL of serum (Gold or Red Tube)
Acceptable: 0.5mL EDTA or Heparinized Plasma (Lavender or Green Tube)
Minimum Volume: 100 μL Serum or EDTA/Heparinized plasma.
Stability: Specimens may be stored at 2-8°C for up to 48 hours. Separated samples may be frozen up to 3 months. Specimens should be at room temperature when tested.
