Specimen Requirements

Container/Tube:

Preferred: Green-top (lithium heparin) tube

Acceptable: Gold-top serum gel tube or plain, red-top tube
Minimum Specimen Volume:  2.1 µL  and dead space of lithium heparin plasma

Stability: 7days at room temperature and at 2 – 8 °C and 2 months at -20 ⁰C.

Collection Instructions: Samples should be centrifuged within 2 hours of collection
