Specimen Requirements
Container/Tube:
Preferred: Gold-top serum gel tube or plain, red top tube
Specimen Volume: 0.5 mL of serum
Stability: Samples may be stored at 2-8°C for up to 21 days, but for prolonged storage they
should be kept frozen at -20°C or below. Repeated freeze/thaw cycles
should be avoided.
