Collection Information:
Collect 3-5 mL of blood in a serum or plasma collection tube. Centrifuge as soon as possible, remove serum/plasma from cells and refrigerate specimen. Transfer 1 mL of serum or plasma to a transport vial and refrigerate or freeze aliquot.
Transport Information:
1 mL of serum refrigerated or frozen in a transport vial.

0.3 mL of serum (approximately 0.6 mL of whole blood based upon normal patient hematocrit)
