Specimen Requirements
1. Submit 2 mL to 3 mL of bronchoalveolar lavage or protected specimen brushing collected with a bronchoscope, in a screw-capped, sterile container.
2. Maintain sterility and forward promptly.
Note: Indicate specimen source on specimen container and in computer.
