Specimen Requirements
Preferred: fresh urine within the pH range of 5-8
Specimen Volume: A minimum of 2.9 µL plus a dead volume is required for testing.
Stability: It is recommended that urine specimens be stored at 2 8 °C and tested within 5 days of collection. Centrifuge highly turbid specimens before testing. Adulteration or dilution of the sample can cause erroneous results.
