Specimen Requirements

Container/Tube:

Preferred: First morning urine collection. No preservative.

Specimen Volume: 10 mL from urine collection.

Stability: Refrigerate specimen during collection, and send specimen refrigerated.

               Specimens may be stored at 2 to 8 °C for up to 7 days and frozen for up to 1 month.
