Specimen Requirements
Container/Tube:
Preferred: Clean catch urine specimen at room temperature <2 hours.
Specimen Volume: minimum of 0.5 ml urine.
Stability: Samples should be refrigerated if testing cannot be performed within 1 hour of collection. Urine is stable for 24 hours at 2-8° C.
